**Fashion Designer**
Shreveport, LA, USA Posted 1 month ago Full time Manufacturing 27-1022.00: Fashion Designers We are seeking an associate designer to join our team! You will be responsible for creating products women and kids love in the apparel and accessories category.
**Responsibilities:**
* Strong sense of creativity and ability to keep up with current trends
* Ability to get involved in workplace teamwork
* Proficient with spreadsheets, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
* Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and be a team player
* Proactively follow up on pending inquiries from sales teams and factories
* Prepare meeting samples and coordinate work between designers, sample makers, production and sales teams
* Create fit comments & communicate with vendors
* Follow up with vendors from fittings until merchandise arrival
?**Qualifications:**
* A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in designing products
* Previous experience as a domestic/ import designer desired
* Multi-faceted, detail-oriented, & highly organized individual
* Ability to prioritize and multitask
* Positive and professional demeanor
* Excellent email writing/communication skills
* Excellent verbal/communication skills
