**Job Description**
The responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor will include:
Manages inbound and outbound shipping loads in a safe, cost effective, and efficient manner.
Keeps accurate documentation of inventory transactions to ensure all industry and regulatory standards are met.
Responsible for supervision, leadership, and safety of shipping/receiving team members.
Ensure the sanitation, housekeeping and overall cleanliness of the warehouse and related areas of the facility are in compliance with quality standards.
Analyzes labor efficiencies and labor allocations to meet demand; schedules vacations/time off; manages overtime hours; manages time keeping system.
Develops and motivates direct reports to improve the efficiency of their current duties and have clearly identified goals.
Regularly communicates via department meetings to keep team members informed; encourages team member feedback/ideas.
Addresses team member issues and delivers corrective action to include behavior, safety, quality, GMP, sanitation, work standards and time infractions. Partner with HR department for direction and guidance as necessary.
Conducts new team member orientation and training.
Maintains current thorough knowledge of the plant and its processes, and seeks continuous improvement of processes and work conditions.
Must participate as an active team player and motivated individual.
Performs other duties as required.
**Qualifications**

Minimum 3 years supervisory/inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment; preferable in a food manufacturing facility. Strong analytical, written/verbal communications, interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across all levels of the organization. Proficient in Warehouse/Inventory control systems, Microsoft Office applications; especially Excel

Bachelor degree strongly preferred High school diploma or equivalent is required
