We are looking to fill a 1st shift position in our quality Department. Below are the preferred skills, duties, and responsibilities you will have performing as our Quality Inspector.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work 1st shift (7am-3:15pm)
  • Excellent visual perception to ensure fine detail quality inspection.
  • Full physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend, and maneuver around equipment and job stations.
  • Ability to work in a productive, cooperative manner with other company employees.
  • Computer literacy at a level of competence to enable accessing and completing necessary documents and forms.
  • At least 5 years quality assurance experience in metals machine shop with ongoing exposure to related advancing quality technologies.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks according to priority.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Executing, overseeing, implementation and compliance to the company quality system.
  • Representation of the company with external contacts including customer relations and vendor relations.
  • Adequate control, protection, and use of the assets of the company.
  • On-going monitoring and verification of quality at each stage of production to ensure that the finished product meets specifications.
  • Follow all procedures set fourth in Quality Manual.

DUTIES
  • On-going communications with the Quality Manager, Engineering, and Production Supervisors to ensure common understanding of immediate issues affecting output and quality.
  • Perform in process, receiving, first-piece and final inspections in timely fashion.
  • Review production packets to ensure all data and forms are in place and are being utilized.
  • Assure that NRB tags, Screen tags, Rejection tags, are properly filled out.
  • Author and maintain Cause and Corrective Action Report log.
  • CMM to be verified and or calibrated every shift and records kept.
  • Responsible for changing and record keeping of temperature chart in CMM room.
  • Review all inspection and personal gages and measuring equipment to assure calibration date is current.
  • Any other duties requested by Quality Manager.
