**Electrical Assembler 2nd and/or 3rd Shift**

**Electrical Assembler 2nd and/or 3rd Shift**

**In this role you will be required to:**

* Work in a team environment

* Work hand in hand with Moog Quality and Engineering to resolve production related issues

* Assemble and inspect electronic assemblies to IPC J-STD Class 3

* Obtain and maintain certifications to higher-level IPC Standards

* Perform high-reliability soldering and crimping operations on complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies, strain-gages, shuttle-type actuators, and electronic control assemblies

* Solder/crimp wires and jumpers to multiple pin connectors/assemblies to meet government/customer inspection and specification

* Work from wiring schematics, parts lists, drawings, assembly worksheets, and other instructions both written and oral

* Know and follow applicable ESD procedures, understand high reliability soldering specifications, and meet certification requirements as applicable

* Perform assembly of various boards, standoffs, jumper wires, wire harness, subassemblies, final assemblies, and solder or crimp complex assemblies/connections

* Apply potting compound to assemblies/connectors ensuring rigid support for the wire bundle.

* Utilize electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, fixtures, and various cleaning procedures; this may require using microscopes, mirrors, picks, and other high-resolution equipment

* Test, monitor, and utilize soldering irons, crimpers, wristbands, volt/ohmmeter, hi-pot, and bridging equipment

* Perform basic maintenance on assembly equipment

* Electronically document all work performed

* Operate production machinery

**Basic Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma, or equivalent

* One or more years experience soldering circuit boards

**Additional Qualifications:**

* Able to perform soldering to IPC J-STD Class 3

* Meticulous attention to detail

* Must be flexible to work 2nd and/or 3rd shift hours
