The Right People doing the Right ThingsSouthwestern Energy is searching for a Welder/Fabricator to join our Wheeling, West Virginia team.To be successful in this role you will:Manage fabrication material inventoryUse plans, diagrams, blueprints, and work requests to determine project design, and works with requester to ensure needs are metFabricate equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metalsRepair equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipmentDetermine metals needed, welding methods, and all particulars of requested jobsUse micrometers and precision measuring toolsRead, understand and follow all safe work practices and procedures for welding machinery and equipmentAbility to weld aluminum, stainless and mild steel with stick, MIG and TIGAble to fit pipe and perform repairs on various types of hydraulic fracturing equipmentYour Background Includes:High school diploma, GED, or the equivalentExcellent communication skillsTechnical skills are a mustStrong focus on safe operationsCertificate or Degree in weldingF orklift/Crane operationBe a part of the Southwestern Energy team, where we stretch the limits of what is possible.
