Company located near O'Hare Internation Airport is seeking a Machinist/Product Assembler to join their growing organization. Due to the company aquiring a brand new product line, they have this incredible opportunity open that is offering competitive compensation, benefits and bonus opportunities. This is a Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm, & direct hire opportunity. **Requirements**
* At least 3 years of experience with manufacturing, product assembly and/or repair of machinery, gearboxes, etc.
* Mechanical aptitude- Knowledge of industrial machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
* Manual dexterity, hands-on experience
* Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
* Attention to detail
* Self-motivated, good work-ethic, no history of job jumping every 1-2 years
* Experience with typical shop hand tools and power tools
* Experience with arbor presses
* ISO 9001, Lean Mfg, and /or 5S experience
* Reading CAD drawings, part fabrication drawings, product drawings
* Ability to create CAD drawings with .dwg, SolidWorks or other (not required)
* Experience with manual machining using engine lathe, mill, etc. (not required)
