Raytheon is a provider of SkillBridge Fellowship opportunities for transitioning service members to gain an in-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense business from some of the most respected leaders and engineers in the industry. SkillBridge fellows will not be eligible for any compensation during their fellowship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. SkillBridge Summary:
Our Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a Procurement Analyst who thrives in a dynamic setting directly supporting various customers who use Raytheon Technologies products in a vibrant and changing environment. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that provides regular engagement with the customer, Program Management Office (PMO), in-country translators, and other functions such as Engineering, Logistics, and Finance. You will leverage a drive for working with international businesses by means of self-motivation and high-level organization while managing multiple priorities at the same time. You will bring a passion for learning and practicing new skills. **This SkillBridge is Hybrid in Andover, MA is preferred but open to Remote for the right candidate. Team works with partners overseas, therefore East Coast Time Zones are recommended.**
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Domestic and international purchase orders for materials, services, and consumables across locations in the Middle East, Asia- Pacific, and Europe, from requesting quotes through negotiations and execution.
- Supplier performance and relationships, as well as identifying new sources of supply as needed.
- Metrics and reports to manage flow of material from origin through delivery.
- Communicating with various internal and external stakeholders regarding needs and updates.
The idea SkillBridge Candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Advanced degree and a minimum 3 years prior relevant experience in procurement or subcontracts.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
- Business, supply chain, engineering, or related fields
- Analysis and metrics development
- Government purchase orders
- Preparing and issuing RFPs (Request for Proposals) / RFQs (Requests for Quote) to suppliers, with routine follow-up to assure understanding and timely response
- Conducting price analyses and developing negotiation strategies
- Documenting purchase orders including details of summary of award; source justification; price analysis methodology; negotiations strategy and summary; performance to budget/target; and risk assessment
- Procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) ability to place POs over TINA dollar threshold ($2M)
SkillBridge Eligibility overview:
To be eligible for this SkillBridge Fellowship you must meet the following requirements:
Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.
