Your Role: Shaping Project Success

As a Heavy Civil Grading Superintendent at Emery Sapp & Sons, you will oversee and manage all on-site construction activities related to grading operations. Your leadership will ensure the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety, quality, and timeline standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all on-site grading operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze project performance metrics, including cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in grading operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational education preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in construction and heavy civil industry, including superintendent or foreman experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
