Job Details

MILITARY VETERANS

Are you looking to deploy your incredible electronic experience into one of the largest, global leaders in the electronics industry?

Our client, a Fortune 500 company, has a history on its side. Every day, people worldwide use this company's products and solutions that are at the core of the manufacturing, services, and solutions. You will be part of a group that enjoys being a critical supplier of highly advanced technologies used to create electronic circuitry and manufacturing cutting processes. This company helps the world be better every day.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be the face of the company. You will be assigned to one of two primary product areas that support different customer bases. One is focused on technology used to create circuit cards (they make the robotics that help create circuit cards.) The other is the technology that is used in the cutting of metal using laser/CO2 systems. Although the products are different, the core of the job is the same.

You will be the primary point of contact to install, repair, and maintain the equipment at key customer locations across the US and, in the future, the globe. You should have a strong background in electronic troubleshooting, using multimeters, reading schematics, and understanding basic electronic theory. Although this is the cornerstone of the skills needed, you should also have some mechanical knowledge, however basic it may be. Due to the customer-facing aspect of the job, you should be a confident communicator at all levels of business.

This is a travel role. Your job will be to travel weekly to customers around the US. However, you rarely will travel on the weekends, and if the customer is local/close, you can drive, and the company will pay all business expenses.

This role requires strong attention to detail, using computers and software, and advocating for the client. You represent a global leader, and you should be proud of that responsibility.

Base salary, plus overtime, plus company credit card, plus per diem. Medical, dental, and vision, 8% match on 401k, 12 holiday and 15 days of PTO (almost 30 days of time off per year).

The company is a global leader in electronics and technology. Due to the incredible demand for this company's products, it is growing exponentially. This growth will mean a career opportunity to be part of the solution for the global shortage of technology used in manufacturing. The leader of this service organization is a former Air Force Veteran with experience in hiring and developing military talent.
