Job Details
We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper who will be responsible for handling various financial tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently.
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing is a plus.
- CPA certification is a bonus but not required.
