Job Overview
- Apply computational biology approaches that includes machine learning/AI techniques, data integration, and biological knowledge
- Partner with Scientists, Engineers, R&D, Software team, Operations team
- Analysis of multi-omics, RNA Seq Data, Single Cell research
- Computational protein/drug discovery modeling
- Develop and apply machine learning methods
- Enhance the efficiency of candidate biologics discovery/screening for increased stem cell activity
- Work with coworkers who work in the lab
- Help develop experiments using data-led approaches
- Answer interesting questions in cancer therapeutics
- Analyze data to gather biological and clinical insights
- Be able to shape the data science and product development
- Lead multiple bioinformatics projects
- Make use of both public and internal data
- Help identify new targets, biomarkers, and patient segments, and
- Articulate findings and observations to internal stakeholders
- Build and/or implement new computational biology capabilities to translate biological data into insights
Job Requirements
- Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or related field
- 2+ years of Biotech or Pharma industry experience
- Several years of experience in independently leading computational biology-related projects using omics data
- Experience with epigenomics, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics
- Demonstrated mastery of bioinformatics/proteomics/multi-omics analysis
- Biostatistical methodologies experience
- Python, R and Linux shell environment
- Experience with NGS data, RNA seq, Single Cell seq
- Experience collaborating with scientists on Design of Experiment (DOE)
