JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate Swing Shift is an important part of our warehouse team. There are a few primary responsibilities of this position. Cleaning out install trucks and preparing them for the next day's job is the primary role. This position will be performing other warehouse-related tasks as assigned and as time allows. These duties include helping put away product and materials, general cleaning, and organization of the warehouse. Various projects will be assigned on a nightly basis.

Schedule: 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday - Friday

All Applicants Must:

Be at least 21 years of age to drive certain rental vehicles.

Have a valid and unrestricted driver's license.

Have and acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles driving record.

Possess a smart phone for navigation and communication.

Pass pre-employment drug screen.

Pass pre-employment background check.

JOB DUTIES

Primary Duties:

The Warehouse Swing Shift Associate is responsible for performing the following position-specific duties using established procedures:

Clean out of construction debris and unused materials from install trucks.

Load any remaining product or new job product, materials, and restock consumables for the next day.

Load transport truck with needed product and materials for offsite warehouses.

Put away product and materials when needed.

Using information provided to ensure accuracy of loads.

Become knowledgeable in industry-specific materials and products.

Own specific tasks as assigned and be able to follow through on your own.

Disposing and recycling of debris properly

Work in the warehouse, including assisting with:

o Unloading deliveries

o Loading and putting away product/materials

o General cleaning & organization

o Lean Projects and activities

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to communication clearly in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Professional attitude and demeanor

Attention to detail.

Ability to accurately gather materials for specific orders.

Work well in a team environment as well as alone if needed.

Open to learning

o Lean Principles and thinking

o The window replacement industry

o RbA Warehouse methods and procedures

Light construction and familiar with carpentry materials

Light carpentry skills - chop saw and hand tools.

Accurate measuring and cutting of materials.

High school diploma or GED

Employment contingent on passing drug screen, background check and Motor Vehicle Record screen.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Highly Organized self-starter

Great attention to detail.

Possess light carpentry skills - chop saw and hand tools.

o Accurate measuring and cutting of various trims and materials.

Ability to communicate clearly in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Must be able to repeatedly lift 50-75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks associated with construction projects.

Warehouse - stocking, pulling, organizing.

Forklift and Order Picker - Certification provided.

Computers - Light Excel, Outlook, Internet, texting, smart phone

Familiar with warehouse operations

Construction materials knowledge

Safety conscious and aware of surroundings

Customer Service orientation

o Installers are the Warehouse's primary "customers." The goal as a team is to set up Installation Crews for success and provide them the on-site support they need.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to repeatedly lift 50-75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks associated with construction.

$22 - $23 an hour
