Have you ever been called a crazy cat person? Do you like to knit sweaters for your cat? If so, the Purrfect Care Feline Medical Center team wants to talk! We are expanding our team of doctors and are ready to hire a part-time weekend veterinary assistant to support them! This position is weekends only at about 10-15 hrs/week.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Patient restraint using Feline Friendly techniques.
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Administration of medicines and vaccines
• Competency in emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement, monitoring anesthesia, and perioperative care
• Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
• Sterilization of surgical equipment; maintenance of autoclave; changing O2 tanks.
