Job Requirements:
- Ensure a safe operating environment for all employees, visitors, and shop processes.
- Lead daily Safety Walk and promote hazard identification.
- Manage investigations & RCA to continuously improve safety practices.
- Evaluate, assess, and enhance safety, health, and environmental protocols.
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of environmental policy manuals.
- Promote stop work authority and lead safety recognition programs.
- Engage with employees to develop transparent communication and engrain safety culture.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Industrial Safety or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in lean manufacturing/repair environment with supervisory skills.
- Preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
- Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management.
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions.
