Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply chain. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans as necessary.
- Cost Management: Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize costs while maintaining product quality.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements. Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of operations. Implement strategies to manage disruptions and shortages proactively.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce lead times.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, market trends, and procurement best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
