Position Overview: Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Litigation Associate with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in insurance defense and employment litigation, demonstrating a keen understanding of litigation processes, client management, and strategic case development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
  • Manage a caseload of insurance defense and employment litigation matters, ensuring timely and effective case progression.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memos, briefs, and motions to support litigation strategies.
  • Attend and represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
  • Maintain client communications, providing updates and legal guidance as needed.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and draft settlement agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with all court deadlines and procedural requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar in which the position is located.
  • 2 to 5 years of litigation experience with a focus on insurance defense and employment litigation (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
