The Kostelic Agency, in partnership with a dynamic and leading player in the renewable energy space, is excited to announce a job opportunity for a Financial Superhero (aka Controller) based in the Chandler, AZ area.
The Opportunity: Are you ready to unleash your financial superpowers and drive change like never before? As our client's Controller (reporting to the CFO), you'll be at the forefront of their financial crusade, leading the charge with your exceptional skills and unrivaled expertise. From conquering month-end close to wielding the power of financial reporting, you'll be the hero their team needs to succeed!
Key Responsibilities:
- Dive into the depths of financial data to lead the month-end close process and emerge victorious with accurate reporting.
- Harness the power of analysis to uncover insights and guide our team towards financial success.
- Command our accounting team with finesse, ensuring compliance with regulations and organization guidelines.
- Be the guardian of our financial integrity, overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis.
- Use your superhuman communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and drive financial excellence.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting - because every superhero needs a strong foundation!
- CPA designation preferred - after all, you're the master of numbers!
- Traditional controllership experience as well as a technical accounting background - i.e.. revenue recognition (ASC606) and inventory (ASC330).
- 10+ years of accounting experience, with a proven track record of success in financial leadership roles.
- Be tech savvy and have a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with job costing/WIP reporting and analysis.
