The Lasso (www.thelasso.com) is building the first consumer driven auction to sell your car directly to our network of dealerships. Our mission is to enable people to get the best price for their vehicle and give dealers access to an entirely new, improved way of acquiring cars and customers.


We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with natural sales instincts to join our team as an outside sales Account Executive. Your purpose will be to develop strong, meaningful relationships with car dealerships through initial in-person sale and ongoing relationship management. You will be helping build the largest and fastest growing network of car dealerships in the country.


You'll be measured on your ability to set appointments, sign dealership partnerships, and get new customers actively bidding in our marketplace. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance their career by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day. We re in the early stages of building our sales team so we re looking for people who not only have a track record of being the best of the best but can also think critically about driving customer growth and building our organization. We will trust you to evangelize The Lasso and consistently exceed targets.


Key responsibilities:

  • Make 50-100 calls per day in both prospecting and engaging with your existing book of business
  • Work with our consumer sales team in coordination with your dealer relationships to help facilitate car sales
  • Identify and visit both franchise and independent car dealerships in person to close business
  • Deliver compelling presentations to potential dealership partners, highlighting the benefits and features of The Lasso platform
  • Take immaculate notes and documentation of every customer or dealer interaction
  • Live in Salesforce to track all metrics and increase vehicle acquisitions
  • Collaborate with the product and tech teams to relay feedback from dealerships, aiding in platform enhancements and feature developments
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to ensure The Lasso remains at the forefront of the automotive tech space
  • Go above and beyond to achieve your targets, help others, and get business closed

  • Collaborate and win as a team you ll compete, but above that you ll collaborate, you ll share what is working, you ll help the team win, you ll take on projects outside of closing deals
  • Previous automotive experience or working with CRM is a plus but not required
  • Flexibility to provide cover for store opening hours, including evenings and weekends
  • High level of self-motivation


Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of success in sales or business development
  • 4+ years of full-time working experience
