**General Summary**

As Hotel Manager at Will O the Wisp, you will be responsible for supervising the front desk team, greeting guests upon check in and check out, answering phones to communicate any necessary information for check ins and check outs, crosschecking paperwork to ensure all items in reservation details are correct, resolving/directing guest issues to correct departments, keeping lobby, common areas, and front desk organized and presentable at all times. This candidate will also manage the Housekeeping Supervisor and their team to ensure all housekeeping department needs and goals are met. We work together as team to benefit not only the guests, but ourselves as a company. This candidate reports to the Director of Hotels and will assist as needed to perform any additional tasks or responsibilities ask by the Director.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

* Handles daily tasks and works with Front Desk and Housekeeping staff

+ Coordinate housekeeping and front desk staff duties for the day and delegate tasks

+ Greet and Check in/out guests

* Answer phone calls in a professional manner

+ Announce hotel greeting and assist callers

+ Use Sales skills to gain reservations and manage existing reservation calls

+ Verify correct information and provide exemplary customer service

* Reply to guest e-mails and leads

* Provide information & make recommendations to guests about local attractions, activities, restaurants and more

* Lead the front desk team in coaching, training, and utilizing the phone CRM system

+ Monitor staff performance with call follow-ups, leads, compliance, and customer service training

* Resolve guest issues as they arise manage the Guest Experience

+ Assist guest to the best of your ability and coordinate any maintenance or assistance

+ Provide solutions and meet company expectations of service

* Create and Manage staff schedules and any time off requests

* Effectively communicate with the housekeeping supervisor and team about their daily schedule, changes, and additions, and other tasks that are needed

+ Perform routine inspections of rooms, standards, and provide training necessary

**General Knowledge:**

* How to use software systems- Outlook Email, Reservation Software, CRM Phone System

* Familiarize knowledge of condos, amenities, owners, and policies

* Abide by company policies, procedures, and guidelines

**Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:**

* 2+ years Hospitality or Hotel experience

* Strong Customer Service skills

* Previous management experience

**Physically you can anticipate to:**

* Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally

* Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time

* Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
