Description
MUST HAVE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Duties:
- Inside sales activities including:
- Generating new opportunities
- Daily prospecting
- Existing customers retain and grow revenues
- Pursue and close sales leads
- Responsible for attaining annual sales quota
- Limited overnight travel (i.e., tradeshows, customer visits)
- Portray AVO in a positive manner professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, tact
- Work with Marketing Department:
- Reach more customers
- Messaging with prior customers
- Develop growth strategies
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, Business/Engineering/Technical preferred
- Prefer 3 or more years of sales experience in electric power industry (electrical maintenance, electrical safety)
- 4 or more years of professional sales experience in similar industry
- Proven new business sales experience (hunter mentality)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and effective use of CRM
- Prefer working knowledge or experience with at least one of the following:
- Substations
- Circuit breakers
- Relay
- Cable
- Transformers
Additional Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Ability to work independently as well as within small teams.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task with ability to complete tasks on schedule.
- Strong organizational skills.
