Primary Responsibilities Load articles into washers and dryersUnderstand and add specified amounts of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents Operate the washer and dryer controlsClean the lint in the dryer filters twice a dayTransfers all linens already in the washer to the dryer immediately upon completion of the first washing cycle, put a new load in the washer and performs the basic duties upon completion of the first drying cycleEnsures that all storage & laundry rooms are locked before clocking outRemoves laundry from chutes & carts; presorts linens to locate stained or torn items Maintain count of discarded itemsFold & stack towels, sheets, and other linensClean storeroom & laundry areaProcess damaged linenMake sure there are enough linens per floor and stocks each floorOther duties as assignedEducation/Experience High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious housekeeping experience preferredPrevious experience with washer/dryer equipment requiredAble to work independentlyCustomer service experienceOur company provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
