L&T is expanding into the semiconductor industry, starting with fabless semiconductor business. The company, LTSCT (L&T Semiconductor Technologies Limited) operates as an integrated IC product company with an engineering design centre, offering a wide range of semiconductor solutions and software products, including Power, Mixed Signal, MEMS, RF, and VLSI catering to Automotive, Industrial Products, Communication and Energy Infrastructures sectors globally. LTSCT is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with regional offices in Europe, Germany, Japan, India and the R&D Centre in Chennai and Bengaluru. LTSCT is building a vibrant team and looking for high calibre professionals to support its ambitious plans for organic and inorganic growth in the semiconductor sector. The company is led by industry veteran Sandeep Kumar, who spent his early career with Texas Instruments and thereafter has a track record of building successful businesses from scratch, as an investor or an operator. Sandeep has previously built two fabless semiconductor businesses as Co-Founder and CEO.

The Head - Telco/Energy Product Management will be a key member of the strategic leadership team of the organisation and play a pivotal role in establishing LTSCT s business Globally in the Telco/Energy Infrastructure domain


It is imperative that the Head - Telco/Energy Product Management, LTSCT brings the relationship/ sales acumen and leadership stripes to be able to:

Create and execute business growth strategies, key account plans and business processes for target markets and key customers. Establish and develop client relationships, and advocate for company s solutions across the customer's organization globally in target industry/segments (Telecommunication and Energy Infrastructure).

Drive in-depth partnerships with customers, work dedicatedly to lead the team to achieve company s financial and market goals by leveraging his/her relationships, nurturing and growing them by creating win-win scenarios.

Liaise with the teams who support sales business, including domestic and international factories, Technology/ Techno-Commercial Leaders, Corporate Purchasing, Corporate Finance etc.

Participate in/lead pricing effort with the LTSCT leadership team.

Build and grow relationships with tier 1 customers Globally.

Oversee Customer Escalations to ensure they are resolved in a way that addresses customer requirement, improves LTSCT quality and leads to improved customer experience.

Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of company; collaborate with the LTSCT leadership to develop and execute a strategy that maximizes sales revenue and leads to sustainable market share gain.


The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

A Bachelor s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or other related Technical Field (MBA preferred) with deep experience in leading sales organizations within the semiconductor industry.

Proven experience of at least 20 Years including at least 5 years at senior management level leading Industry vertical in semiconductor industry with a focus on in Tele-communication / Energy Infrastructures sectors

Must have handles a P&L Responsibility in his current/previous role

Strong customer relationships with relevant buyers across industries such as Tele-communication and Energy Infrastructure- that can be leveraged to increase LTSCT s revenue, market share, profitability and influence across the globe.

Experience with some (if not all) of LTSCT s technologies of focus- including Power, Mixed Signal, MEMS, RF, and VLSI.

Proven track record of thinking and planning strategically while driving the day-to-day execution. Experience in a business build/ start-up environment will be preferred.

Exposure to leading business growth through direct customer relationships and also distribution channels.

Ability to understand and assess business needs and dynamics on cross-functional basis.

Strong business and industry acumen combined with cross continent knowledge and relationships, to help initiate and/or develop client relationships.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present results and future objectives to senior levels of organization and offerings to clients at CXO level.

Solid understanding of how to manage C-level customers, partners and the media, at functions/events- the sales head will help evangelize LTSCT s offerings, by virtue of being a part of the start-up / founding team.

Ability to leverage LTSCT s value proposition and offer expertise for day-to-day and long-term challenges/ opportunities.

Organization, budgeting, and program management skills.

Ability to grow a business and collaborate with internal stakeholders, with the broader of interests of the organization top of mind.

Highly ethical leader with zero tolerance on questionable business practices.
