As a Cultivation Technician, you will play a vital role in nurturing marijuana plants through various growth stages, from infancy to flowering. Your responsibilities will include executing tasks such as cloning, pruning, transplanting, feeding, and harvesting, all in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Your attention to detail and adherence to quality standards will ensure the health and vitality of our plants.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and maintain the health of plants across different growth stages, following SOPs and guidance from team leads.
• Perform routine plant maintenance activities, including transplanting, pruning, trellising, and harvesting, while ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Uphold cleanliness and prevent contamination in the grow facility by adhering to proper hygiene practices and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocols.
• Promptly address any issues with plants, equipment, or environmental conditions, and maintain accurate plant inventory records.
• Organize and sanitize work areas regularly to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and increase productivity.
• Assist in inspections and compliance audits as needed, while ensuring adherence to state regulations.
• Maintain high personal hygiene standards and adhere to safety protocols.
• Must be flexible as this job description may be subject to change and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS

• 1-2 years of experience in a related field preferred.

• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous general labor experience is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
• Commitment to complying with state regulations and guidelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to perform various physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.
• Exposure to heat, humidity, and artificial lights for extended periods.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and working at heights using ladders.
