The Maintenance Technician is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager in maintaining and caring for a mixture of 1,2-,3-,4- and 5-bedroom apartments, as well as maintaining the physical integrity of the grounds. Applicant should strive to make our clients happy, completing work orders on a timely manner. On call will be required every other week, handling 24-hour emergencies as needed. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO WORK ON - Care and upkeep of all rental units, property, and facilities.
- Assisting in maintenance situations.
- Assisting with work orders.
- Upkeep of the grounds (Picking up trash daily)
- Assisting with turnover; walking units, touch up painting, moving furniture, etc.
- Rotate on-call service to residents
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to navigate property which may require climbing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching above the head, and reaching forward. Occasionally climbing of ladders.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
YOU COULD BE THE RIGHT PERSON IF YOU HAVE:
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems
- appliance repaid and carpentry skills
- strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills
- valid driver's license/transportation (to and from work) required
- High School diploma or equivalent
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU ALSO HAVE (optional): - HVAC certification (EPA Certification)
- Applicable Pool Operator License (CPO)
