The Clinical Research Nurse is an integral part of the study team. Using essential nursing skills, the Clinical Research Nurse leads the study staff in providing excellent patient care for research participants.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows Good Clinical Practice guidelines to facilitate clinical trial protocols from site activation to study termination
Obtains informed consent from research participants according to organizations standard operating procedures.
Performs study visits, tests & procedures for patients in accordance with clinical trial protocols
Ensures collection of pertinent data and accurately documents clinical study procedures
Identifies, documents & reports adverse events
Recruits potential subjects for research participation in collaboration with their healthcare team
Masters clinical trial protocols and serves as an educational resource for other clinical staff
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Active, current, and un-restricted nursing license in Maryland
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Collaborative teamwork skills
Integrity and punctuality
Experience with software such as MS Word, MS Excel, Gmail, and other applications

In-person Clinical Position
Monday-Friday. Four 10 hour days with rotating day off.
