-Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work.
-Manage inbound and outbound carrier tendering, scheduling, allocation, and dispatching along with direct communication as needed to resolve issues/escalations.
-Develop and maintain carrier relationships to ensure cost effective delivery service and capacity for the company s mills.
-Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Customer Solutions, Production Planning/Manufacturing, and Logistics Sourcing to streamline and coordinate logistics/fulfillment operations.
-Improve operating efficiencies and delivery services through identifying and implementing best practices for transportation management.
