Account Representative, Medical Billing - Integrius, LLC - Evansville, IN

We are looking for an Account Representative to join our team! This person will be responsible for completing reports and submitting charges to insurance companies for processing across multiple locations for various clients. This is a full-time position with a Monday - Friday schedule with flexible hours. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Completing monthly A/R validation reports for assigned accounts to department standards
  • Reviewing and submitting charges to insurance for processing
  • Communicating with insurance companies and patients regarding outstanding balances
  • Working claim denials and validating patient credit balances
  • Establishing positive working relationships with Patient Experience Specialist staff to ensure issued tasks for missing items are addressed timely

Our ideal candidate would:

  • Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Have at least 1 year of related experience or training is preferred
  • Have previous experience in a customer service or clerical role
  • Display a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrate strong detail orientation with the ability to adapt to change
  • Demonstrate strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Have strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
