Onsite: This position will be onsite Monday - Friday at our Machesney Park office.

Work Schedules: Monday - Friday

  • 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
  • 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • OT available after training if requirements are met


Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-standing relationships with billing clients.
  • Liaison between CSM's and internal teams, ensuring timely and successful delivery of information or service according to client needs.
  • Responsible for the setup of new clients, which includes making sure all necessary set up documents are received and signed off by the client, as well as review of items entered by Experity to ensure correct set up.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining client fee schedules.
  • Research and maintain state specific guidelines pertaining to where to send claims for the large three payers (BCBS, Medicare, and Medicaid), if claims agreement is required, provider number requirements, claim format requirements, etc.
  • Responsible for timely provider set-ups including loading provider numbers. Includes releasing claims as appropriate and notifying Experity to proceed with claims agreement (tracking until resolved).
  • Maintaining various client spreadsheets.
  • Communicate key Accounts Receivable information on a monthly basis.
  • Documentation of communications with clients as required by Experity Billing
  • Assists the Billing Account Assistant as needed.
  • Responsible for the timely addition/update and accuracy of a variety of information, such as Fee Schedules, Electronic Agreements, Client Set ups, spreadsheets, and other information as identified.
  • May perform billing demos and training for non-RCM clients.
  • Attend client calls and educate clients on RCM best practices
  • Emails RCM teams to notify of contract updates, termed providers, and new providers.
  • Create new provider set ups in the PM.
  • Complete mass release/resends of claims.
  • Review ERA opportunity spreadsheet.
  • Assist with obtaining ERA agreements.
  • Set up ERA/EDI for new clients.
  • Send E-prescribe set up requests to customer support.
  • Notify team to enable rules engine for ACE.
  • Assist with Billing Support projects as needed.
  • Review provider override report and report issues as needed.
  • Assist in Rural Health feature set ups and clinic configs.
  • Participate in Rural Health calls with clients & CSM's as needed.
  • Research and assist in resolving various claims denials and EDI issues as needed.
  • Complete tasks on new client checklist.
  • Create and maintain state specific cheat sheets.
  • Work and resolve Billing Support tickets within Salesforce.
  • Route emails/tickets to appropriate departments as needed.
  • Create and maintain managed care feature in the PM.
  • Review charges on hold and release claims as appropriate.
  • Maintain continuous follow up with clients and internal teams on various items as needed.
  • Resolve client and internal billing support inquiries within 2 business days.
  • Complete RCM decommission tasks for terming clients.
  • Complete all tasks that a Master Biller completes.
  • Train new team members.
  • Escalate provider/payer issues to contracting and credentialing.
  • Track, review, & report on C&C issues and claims totals.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of customer service experience
  • Experience in the medical billing field (charge entry/payment posting/claims)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
