Job Summary
To schedule, communicate and implement plant production. Insure an adequate supply of support materials. Confirm that orders are shipped accurately and on time.

MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate information between Corporate Scheduling, sales customers, vendors, warehouses and the plant.
  • Supply plant with production work orders, repack orders and schedule package to be run in production.
  • Acquire and distribute information for production - load specs, glass spec, carton specs etc.
  • Maintain work order number log sheet for tracking labor to be charged back.
  • Purchase and key receipts of packaging material.
  • Account code invoices to be processed by accounts payable.
  • Coordinate interplant transfers of packaging material.
  • Audit material for quality defects - write DMRs.
  • Supervise hourly workers in loading, unloading, inventory of packaging material, including sorting, defect detection and reworking packaging.


EMPLOYEE QUALIFICATIONS:

2-4 years manufacturing experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Must be process knowledgeable, have analytical skills for forecasting and scheduling.

Details orientated and possess problem solving skills and techniques.

Strong and effective communication skills.
