Job Details
SUMMARY: Provides day-to-day financial management, including oversight of accounts payable, payroll, general accounting and month-end general ledger close and preparation of financial statements. Ensures the application of sound accounting principles and practices, demonstrates proficiency in areas related to the general ledger, and financial reporting and communicates clearly with all levels of the organization.
Required Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or related field
Required Experience: At least three (3) years' progressive accounting experience with a minimum of two (2) years' recent accounting experience in a hospital or healthcare environment; OR three (3) years' public accounting experience
Preferred Experience: Experience or familiarity with accounts payable and payroll functions; at least one (1) year supervisory experience; proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
