Willow Logistics Specialist - Bulk Materials

Job Summary

The Willow Logistics Specialist will report to the Willow Logistics Manager and will work in close collaboration with the Willow Logistics Team based in Anchorage and the North Slope. This role will closely collaborate with other Willow construction staff and support contractors.


Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day tasking from and support to the Willow Logistics Manager and Logistics Planner.
  • Liaison with other ConocoPhillips personnel and contractors in support of Willow objectives.
  • Provide specialist level support for scheduling, transportation and staging of project construction materials.
  • Troubleshoot and support logistics service contractors as needed.
  • Responding to dynamic changes during construction activities.
  • Inspection and receipt of materials as required.
  • Preparation of any required reports.
  • Leading or supporting any investigations into logistics or material related concerns.
  • Proactively lead HSE performance by communicating, fostering, supporting, and enforcing HSE policies procedures, guidelines, requirements, and objectives.
  • Perform HSE engagements and interventions with contracted service providers if required.
  • Implement and support the Client s Incident Free Culture (IFC) program with contractors through participation in IFC workshops and field engagements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years oil and gas experience to include Greenfields/brownfields major project construction
  • Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel several days at a time.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years direct logistics related experience on the North Slope or elsewhere in Alaska
  • Knowledge of existing North Slope operating practices and contract relationships
  • Experience with SAP material tracking and receiving
  • Advanced level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced level multi-tasking skills with ability to manage multiple ongoing activities
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and across organizational boundaries
  • Ability to synthesize data and develop suitable quantitative models to support logistics strategies and planning.


Willow Project Overview

Located on Alaska s North Slope in the National Petroleum Reserve (NPR-A), the Willow project is estimated to produce 180,000 barrels of oil per day at its peak.

The economic impact of the Willow project will be sizable. According to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) estimates, Willow could generate between $8 billion and $17 billion in new revenue for the federal government, the state of Alaska, the North Slope Borough, and local communities. The initial phase of Willow development will include a new Willow Central Processing Facility (WCF), three drill sites, pipelines, roads, bridges and supporting infrastructure.

2023 2024 - WOC Fabrication

2025 2027 - WOC North Slope Installation and Commissioning

2025 2027 - WCF / DS Sealift Module Fabrication

2027 2029 WCF / DS North Slope Installation and Commissioning


Willow will be a greenfield design including all processing facilities, utilities, drilling equipment, camp, and power generation.
