Summary Description:


We are currently seeking a professional and skilled Software Developer to engineer, develop, and support software applications that successfully meet the evolving business needs of the Clayco Enterprise. This team member will collaborate with business analysts and other parts of the business to develop/test/deploy appropriate software solutions.

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to design and customize software for multiple business units with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. This team member will analyze and design data structures within an application area, working both individually and coordinating development as part of a team. Additionally, our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to implement enterprise solutions in a dynamic environment. Specific Responsibilities:


  • Develop, test, support and deploy enterprise-level portals and software solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Analyze and understand business needs to develop technical requirements that yield effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all security policies and data protection standards
  • Perform SharePoint administration and Site life-cycle management.
  • Develop solutions for business process automation.
  • Provide support and guidance to users on modern SharePoint features and functionalities.
  • Promote user adoption through user and site manager training, consultation, and support of existing legacy functionality.
  • Manage site collections, including content databases and security settings.
  • Develop custom solutions, web parts, and applications.
  • Manage content types, taxonomy, and content lifecycle.


Job Requirements and Competencies:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework, JavaScript of webparts, .NET, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Ability to engineer and develop scalable, supportable solutions based on User prototyped usage of Power Platform Services
  • Proven experience with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React, and VueJS
  • Exposure to or expertise with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent cloud-based platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering and process mapping.
  • Experience with the IT Service Management (ITSM) technologies such as ServiceNow for tracking, documenting, and resolving incidents and problems.
  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate, Power Platform Administrator, or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience in managing Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, and SharePoint environments in enterprise settings.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in site layout, library/list management.
  • Knowledge of information architecture and content management strategies.
  • Excellent experience with SQL coding, performance tuning on stored procedures/functions, indexing, and ad-hoc queries
  • Dynamics 365 administration and development
