Role Description

This is a full-time Hybrid role for an employment Associate Attorney. The Employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with employment litigation, such as conducting legal research, preparing and filing motions, attending hearings and depositions, and appearing in court.

Qualifications

• Draft and analyze agreements
• Draft legal memorandum, complaints, discovery, and motions
• Legal research and analysis, legal writing, verbal communication, and client counseling
• Prepare and take depositions and attend mediations and arbitration from prep through completion
• Strong communication internally with the firm and externally with clients
• Work on employment law cases, including individual lawsuits
• Must have a working knowledge of the Southern, and Eastern District Courts as well as the Federal District Courts
• Must also have a working knowledge of the Federal and Local Rules and NY Civil Procedures
• A New York bar license is required; a CA Bar license is a plus
• Two or more years of experience in Employment Law
