ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

The Pricebook and Loyalty Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate pricing information and ensuring pricing strategies align with business goals. They will develop and execute a comprehensive loyalty program strategy aligned with the organization's goals and customer retention objectives.

Pricebook Responsibilities:

  1. Pricebook Maintenance: Develop and maintain the store's pricebook database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of pricing information for all products. Regularly update pricing records, including changes in cost, promotions, and discounts.
  2. Pricing Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to recommend pricing strategies that maximize profitability. Identify pricing opportunities and potential areas for margin improvement.
  3. Promotions and Specials: Collaborate with marketing team to plan and implement promotional pricing strategies and special offers. Ensure accurate pricing execution during promotional periods.
  4. Cost Management: Monitor and manage product costs to ensure pricing reflects changes in supplier costs, currency exchange rates, and market conditions. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
  5. Vendor and Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to stay informed about pricing changes, discounts, and promotional opportunities. Negotiate favorable pricing agreements and terms when necessary.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, such as marketing, finance, and technology, to ensure pricing decisions align with overall business objectives. Provide pricing insights and recommendations to support strategic planning.
  7. Systems and Tools: Utilize price book management software (PDI) and other tools to efficiently maintain pricing data. Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to pricing systems and processes.
  8. Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure compliance with all pricing regulations and legal requirements, such as labeling and display laws. Regularly audit price accuracy in-store, promptly addressing any discrepancies.


Loyalty Responsibilities:
  1. Program Implementation: Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of the loyalty program. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as technology and finance, to ensure seamless integration and consistent program delivery across all channels.
  2. Member Acquisition and Retention: Develop and implement member acquisition strategies to attract new customers to the loyalty program. Design and execute retention initiatives to engage existing members, increase their participation, and strengthen their loyalty to the brand. Respond to all customer issues timely and manage customer email box.
  3. Reward Management: Select and manage a portfolio of rewards, incentives, and benefits that are appealing to program members. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of rewards, monitor redemption rates, and adjust to optimize program performance.
  4. Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze customer data and program metrics to gain insights into member behavior, preferences, and engagement patterns. Utilize this data to identify opportunities for improvement, personalize member experiences, and drive targeted marketing campaigns.
  5. Communication and Engagement: Develop and execute communication plans to promote the loyalty program, its benefits, and ongoing offers to both existing and potential members. Implement engagement tactics, such as personalized communications, exclusive offers, and interactive experiences, to foster member participation and loyalty.
  6. Program Evaluation and Optimization: Regularly assess program performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer satisfaction metrics. Identify areas for improvement, make data-driven recommendations, and implement enhancements to optimize the program's effectiveness and impact.
  7. Vendor and Partner Management: Collaborate with external vendors, technology providers, and strategic partners to leverage their expertise, manage program operations, and ensure the smooth functioning of program-related systems and processes.
  8. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure the loyalty program complies with relevant industry regulations, data privacy laws, and consumer protection guidelines. Stay updated on any changes to applicable regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
  9. Budget Management: Develop and manage the loyalty program budget, including expenses related to rewards, promotions, communication materials, technology platforms, and analytics tools. Optimize resource allocation and seek cost-effective solutions without compromising program quality.
  10. Reporting and Stakeholder Communication: Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate program performance, ROI, and key insights to internal stakeholders, including senior management. Present recommendations and strategic initiatives for program growth and expansion.


Requirements

Prior Pricebook Management experience is preferred.

Prior PDI experience is preferred.

Background in IT is a plus.
