Looking for a reliable and dependable Structural Steel CAD Detailer for a role with a client in Pittsburgh, PA.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of structural steel products, utilizing CAD software to create accurate and precise drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Construct hand drawings and detailed plans for potential structural steel products, incorporating client specifications and project requirements.
- Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of steel components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to review and revise designs as needed.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to verify dimensions, materials, and specifications.
- Prepare technical documentation and drawings for manufacturing and construction purposes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to enhance design processes.
Qualifications- Associate degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field.
- MINIMUM of 5 years of combined education and experience using CAD in any form of industrial design.
- Must be able to read SPEC sheets and create drafts
- Experience in CAD 2D and 3D experience
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to pass an extensive geometry test.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
