Coordinating Nurse

We are looking for experienced Nurses (RNs) to join our medical team in Phoenix, AZ.

Coordinating Nurses provide comprehensive assistance by triaging medical concerns, determining the needed level of care, and effectively communicating with stakeholders across various business sectors worldwide. Our team engages with clients in Commercial Aviation, Business and General Aviation, and Luxury Yachts, while navigating the intricacies of healthcare delivery in various global regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients and providers around the world via phone and email.
  • Triage incoming calls to ensure an appropriate level of care is offered.
  • Manage existing cases until completed while ensuring positive outcomes.
  • Provide pre-travel and evacuation medical assistance.
  • Review medical records to evaluate the quality of healthcare delivered in compliance with specified criteria.
  • Work cohesively within a team to manage and ensure the successful resolution of case management duties.

Required Work Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in ICU, ER or related medical experience to be reviewed and approved by the Medical Director.
  • Previous flight experience, telephone triage, aviation, maritime, and/or international assistance experience preferred but not required.

Required Skills And Competencies

  • Effective customer service and telephone skills.
  • Competency with use of personal computer and various software packages.
  • Proficient in written communication to a corporate standard.
  • Demonstrated triage experience.
  • Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective prioritization and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating both efficiency and adaptability in managing various tasks simultaneously.

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess a current Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona or be able to obtain such a license.
  • Must at least show proof of application for a temporary license and must obtain such within 2 weeks of employment and must furnish proof of permanent AZ licensure within 4 months of start date to maintain employment.
  • Must possess current ACLS.

Travel Requirements

  • There are no travel requirements for this position but there are occasional opportunities for travel related to work including work as a nurse escort.
