Senior Procurement Auditor
A bachelor's degree and professional experience in accounting, auditing, or finance. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted.

This person will assess the company's compliance with the Procurement Code by:
Serving as Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) for assigned audits of simple to moderately complex procurement systems.
Assisting audit Managers as a member of a team to conduct audits of large, complex procurement systems.

This successful incumbent will be expected to:
Develop and document an effective plan/strategy for each assigned audit engagement.
Prepare engagement work papers according to professional and office standards.
Communicate professionally and courteously with Agency personnel and management in the conduct of audits.
Develop all elements of audit findings -condition, criteria, effect, and cause.
Develop cost-effective corrective action that adds value to governmental bodies' procurement functions.
Prepare written reports on assigned engagements that set forth results and make recommendations in an accurate, objective, concise, and constructive manner.
Work collaboratively and effectively on audit teams.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and techniques of accounting.
Experience with federal or state procurement laws and regulations.
Ability to plan, organize, analyze, and communicate effectively.
Ability to apply critical thinking skills in the analysis of meaning and sufficiency of audit Evidence.
Proficient skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel software and familiarity with information system practices.
