Overview:
As the CNC Machinist you will support part setup in our Machining Department, including producing machined parts by programming and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.

Until further notice:

  • Pay range $35/hr - $45/hr based on experience
  • Additional 10% premium for 2nd Shift and additional 5% premium for 3rd Shift
  • Rogue Team Members eligible to receive Quarterly Bonus*

Responsibilities:
  • Setup and operate CNC machines in a safe manner to perform machine functions on metal work pieces
  • Take apart and reverse engineer parts
  • Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures
  • Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
  • Stop machines to remove finished work pieces, or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences
  • Monitor machine operation and control panel displays, and compare readings to specifications in order to detect malfunctions
  • Clean machines, tooling, and parts, using solvents or solutions and rags


Qualifications:
  • 5-10+ years CNC machining/programming experience
  • Fixture building experience is required
  • Must read G-code and have CNC programming experience
  • Must have a positive attitude and work well with others
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds
  • Experience reading engineering drawings to quality check work is required
