• JOB SUMMARY
  
  • Unloads supply trucks, matches all receipts against shipping manifests and purchase orders. Uses the hospital's inventory system to receive shipments and maintain perpetual inventories. Counts, stocks, picks, and replenishes house-wide inventories. Stocks and labels patient charge supplies. Processes department requisitions daily. Delivers non-stock department orders daily.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  
  • Education
    
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • On-the-job training provided.
  • Licensure and Certifications
    
    • None required.
  • Experience
    
    • Computer Experience required.
    • Should possess attention to detail.
    • Typing skills preferred.
    • Knowledge of perpetual inventory systems preferred.
    • Clerical and numerical experience beneficial.
    • Product knowledge of medical/surgical supplies helpful.
    • Good public relations and interpersonal skills required.
