Job duties include: During peak season include: Plant and harvest corn, soybean, rice, sugarcane, crawfish, and wheat; repairing crawfish traps and putting out, cutting and preparing crawfish bait, general farm maintenance, checking tractors and all farm equipment. Must be able to climb, lift up to 50lbs, walk, bend, and kneel for long periods of time. Work is done in all kind of weather from extreme heat, cold and rain. During non-peak season, duties include upkeep of farm; repairing and maintaining farm equipment; and assisting in the planting and flooding of fields for next peak season. Must have 6 months of experience in Farm work or similar occupation. Required travel between worksites in Louisiana. Must have a valid driver s license.
