The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Technician I, Quality Control Lab, working in Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products industry in One Nelson C White Parkway, Mundelein, Illinois, 60060, United States.

  • Perform all required tests to release reagent products in compliance with cGMP/GLP. Inspect and release incoming raw materials for production use.
  • Maintain daily recording of QC trending of in-process and final test results for eachbatch on statistical process control charts and Certificate of Analysis of released reagents.
  • Keep daily calibration records of laboratory instruments, including pH meters, osmometer, conductivity meters, refractometer, and blank check for Sysmex instruments.
  • Print and check labels for pouches, bottle and boxes for correct lot numbers, expiration dates, and barcodes. Inspect and ensure that each manually boxed kit/bottled reagent has all the necessarycomponents including instruction manuals, bottle diluents, pouches.
  • Manage retention samples for each batch of reagents. Discarding of expired retention samples. Monthly perform culture test and sent water to the third party for the inspection. Daily temperature monitoring.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biological Sciences is required.
  • 0-2 Year's experience.
  • Would like to see someone with some hands on experience and mainly knowledge in wet chemistry namely: pH, conductivity, titration, osmolality, perform dilution, understanding of solution concentrations.
  • Word processing, statistical analysis, spreadsheets.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels regarding quality issues.
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks and projects.
  • Ability to make accurate decisions regarding release of product, and analyze and troubleshoot problems as they occur.
