Customer Account Manager


Job Details

Reports to the PackRoom, LLC Business Development Manager. Responsible for sales of Custom Procedure Trays and Packs to customers within the Partners Cooperative, Inc. network. Responsible for focusing on the customers needs and/or issues as it pertains to CPT s, and to insure the clinical efficacy of the items that are within CPT s with each CPT decision maker. Uses sales and customer service expertise to overcome issues in a concise, professional, and ethical manner.


Account Manager will interface with Operating Room Directors and other O.R. personnel, OB/GYN, Cath, Imaging and other clinical personnel to assist in developing new CPT s, reviewing current CPT s, and making changes to existing CPT s at customer s request. Also, will work with customers to determine if prototypes are needed in certain circumstances and will deliver prototypes and make changes to CPT s prior to signoff by customer. Collaborates with PackRoom General Manager and other personnel to insure that our customers receive the highest possible customer service levels, and to assist PR,LLC Production Team in development of CPT s. The ideal candidate will have clinical quality value analytics experience, working knowledge of materials management, cost accounting, creation of sales quotes, contract compliance, quality assurance, customer service, consulting, and account management.


Additionally, the Account Manager will be required to frequently work with Partners Cooperative personnel for the purpose of gaining contract knowledge by item/by vendor. Will be required to attend O.R. Committee Meetings on a monthly basis for the purpose of staying in tune with our customers needs and changing environments. Also, will perform other duties as assigned.


Physical Demands and Working Conditions:


Job requires prolonged periods of sitting at a personal computer terminal, driving personal vehicle, frequent walking/standing in hospitals, PackRoom, and DCI warehouse. Because local travel is required, candidate would need to live local to the general Atlanta, GA area, maintain a current driver s license, and have the ability to drive their own vehicle on a daily basis to customer locations.


Job Qualifications:


Education: BS degree is required, or a combination of education and experience, or equivalent experience in medical sales.


Experience: Candidate must have experience in a clinical setting. Must be comfortable in the operating room setting, including general knowledge of procedures, the sterile field, back-table areas, and must be able to communicate comfortably with O.R., OB/GYN, Cath, Imaging and other clinical personnel.

Candidate must also be proficient in use of a personal computer, excelling in the knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word, with Access experience being beneficial. Since PackRoom, LLC is a small, stand-alone business with many financial, operating, and marketing skills needs; any business operations experience is a plus.
