**Golf Cart Attendant (part-time/seasonal)**
Golf Schaumburg, Illinois Minimum Experience **Entry-level** Compensation **$12 per hour** The Schaumburg Park District is an award-winning public agency that provides its 75,000 residents with a wide variety of recreational facilities, programs, events, parks and open spaces. Schaumburg Park District is home to the Schaumburg Golf Club, a beautifully manicured 27-hole course. The 27-hole course has hosted U.S. Open Qualifying, Illinois State Amateur Qualifying, Illinois Open Qualifying, IPGA Pro-Junior Championship, just to name a few.
JOB SUMMARY: The Golf Cart Attendant serves as an ambassador for the Schaumburg Golf Club. This individual creates an excellent presentation and quality customer service in the cart staging area while greeting each customer before their round of golf. The Golf Cart Attendant cleans and displays each golf cart so they are in exceptional condition. This person keeps the cart staging area in a neat and orderly manner. Responsibilities also include maintaining and displaying the driving range and Academy Teaching Tee in a professional manner. The Golf Cart Attendant performs opening, midday and/or closing responsibilities. This individual also assists with the organization of various golf outings.
LOCATION: Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 Roselle Rd., Schaumburg
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be outgoing, and responsible. The ideal candidate would have basic knowledge of golf and prior experience working with the public or customer service is helpful. Candidate must have a valid drivers license.
SCHEDULING & PAY: This is a seasonal position starting around April 1, 2022 and ending in November (weather dependent). You can expect to work about 10-25 hours per week. Scheduling will includes various shifts Monday through Sunday. Pay is $12.00 / hour.
