**UAV Pilot**

Prosper, TX / Martin UAV Martin UAV / Full Time Employee + Using OEM documentation and without supervision or supervise others in performing preflight checklists and participate in or lead mission briefings

+ Review Airspace requirements and operate systems safely and within requirements of applicable flight regulations as required by the OEM, or Customer. May supervise others or provide familiarization briefs to ensure understanding of operating environment

+ In accordance with OEM documentation and without supervision operates UAS and responds to emergency procedures as required. May supervise or assist others in safe operation during flight operations

+ In accordance with OEM documentation and without supervision operates various sensor systems as required by the mission. May supervise or train others in use of various sensors in use by Martin UAV or their customers

+ Participates in or leads post-mission debriefing. Completes or approves appropriate documentation, logbooks, or flight logs without supervision

+ Comply with all published documentation, checklists, and appropriate operations manuals to operate and maintain the UAS safely and comply with customer expectations. May supervise or evaluate others in the safe operation of aircraft and customer satisfaction

+ Supervises required maintenance and logistics actions as required or assigns tasks to team to ensure proper site operation. This may consist of aircraft & GSE maintenance, workspace upkeep, spares inventory or cycle counts, or other assigned tasks that support day to day operations. Orders parts and complete Return Material Authorization paperwork as required

+ Lead or participate in preflight planning to include mission briefings, weather forecasts, Notice to Airmen (NOTAMS), Special Instructions (SPINs), and airspace requirements

+ In accordance with OEM manuals and without supervision unless required by procedure, perform preventative, scheduled or unscheduled maintenance or troubleshooting of aircraft or system support equipment. May act as a quality inspector or approval authority when required in relevant documentation

+ May lead in a system static display or demonstration flights

+ Other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Required Qualifications**

+ A minimum of a Secret DoD Security Clearance, as required by customer

+ Ability to work independently and lead in a small team environment often in austere environment while focused on delivering outstanding support to customer

+ Eligible to obtain a Class II FAA Flight physical, as required

+ Ability to pass background investigation per company hiring process

+ Ability to pass pre-deployment medical and dental screenings in accordance with customer requirements

+ Strong computer literacy and understanding of networking multiple systems

+ Ability to pass FAA Ground School as required by customer or training location requirements

+ Minimum of 6 years relevant experience

+ Desired Qualifications

+ Prior Military Service including operational deployments

+ Maritime/shipboard based UAS experience

+ FAA ratings (Part 107/Private Pilot/Commercial/Instrument/CFI/CFII)

+ Imagery Analyst experience

+ Previous OCONUS deployment experience with a UAS or relevant manned aviation

+ Experience with other manned or unmanned systems

+ Bachelors degree in relevant field
