The Tennessee Department of Health is seeking a Medical Doctor to serve as Regional Medical Director in the Mid-Cumberland Region near Nashville, TN. The Mid-Cumberland Regional Medical Director oversees and supports the regional health services of twelve local health department clinics. Programs include: childhood vaccinations, women s and children s nutrition, STD testing, family planning, emergency preparedness, and primary care. This position reports to the State Medical Director and is part of Community Health Services.

• Active leader in clinical staffing, seeing patients one day per week.

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO degree
• Valid and unrestricted Tennessee medical license
• Valid DEA license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty such as Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
