Key Duties and Responsibilities

Instill Safety as a top priority.

Provides on-site supervision and direction to crew members.

Familiar with project specifications and ability to understand plans.

Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.

Ensure crew time cards are filled out and submitted weekly.

Fill out daily foreman reports.

Analyze and resolve issues that may arise.

Ability to explain and understands survey and grade staking (Lasers, Transits, and GPS)

Manage all excavating activities for your crew.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years as a pipe foreman / supervisor in the Highway Heavy Civil Construction Industry

Knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.

Must be familiar with heavy equipment

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Must have a valid Driver's License.

Ability to work with tools and equipment such as, power and non-power tools.

Frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb and periodically lift up to 50lbs.

Positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills.

Time management, multitasking, and prioritization are crucial.

Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.

Working Conditions

Construction Site Environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects. Exposed to high noise levels.
