Boulo Solutions is sourcing candidates for a Litigation Attorney to join a growing and established personal injury law firm in Knoxville OR Chattanooga . If you would like the opportunity to work with a great firm that has growth potential this could be a great fit for you!
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $70-90k ( base plus bonus and commission structure)
Benefits: BCBS health package options, and dental insurance, 401K with 4% match after one year and 1 week paid PTO after three months, 2 weeks on one year anniversary, 3 weeks after two years and 4 weeks on 6 year. 9 Paid Holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial case evaluations and determine the viability of potential personal injury claims.
- Investigate claims and gather evidence to build a strong case.
- Develop legal strategies and arguments for cases.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Represent clients in court and at mediation or settlement conferences.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel or insurance companies.
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and advice.
- Manage a caseload effectively and efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in personal injury law and legal precedents.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience managing support staff and/or other attorneys.
- Passionate about advocating for clients' rights.
