Precigen is a dedicated discovery and clinical stage biopharmaceutical company advancing the next generation of gene and cell therapies using precision technology to target the most urgent and intractable diseases in our core therapeutic areas of immuno-oncology, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases.

Precigen has developed novel manufacturing processes to deliver UltraCAR-T and AdenoVerse immunotherapies to patients. We have multiple products being evaluated in the clinic using our innovative manufacturing approach to cell and gene therapies.

The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide superior administrative and operational support services to the Executive Leadership team of Precigen. This position will perform both routine and advanced administrative duties which are complex in nature and require independent reasoning, a high degree of accuracy, and leadership. This position requires thorough knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures. Duties will include a broad range of complex responsibilities involving confidential or technical information such as assisting with the preparation of the Board of Directors meetings and its associated materials, preparing correspondence, statistical reports, and materials for presentations. Occasional evening and weekend work is required, specifically to be available to help with last minute travel and business changes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Executive leadership team with duties including, but not limited to: calendar management, meeting coordination, expense reporting as well as domestic and international travel arrangement.
  • Sets the calendar and has ownership of the daily itinerary as well as any meeting deliverables, communications, or follow up.
  • On own initiative and discretion, establishes priorities, sets up schedules or refuses appointments, accepts or declines invitations to meetings.
  • Acts as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Anticipates and prepares materials needed by the leadership team for on and off-site meetings, interviews, conference calls and conferences.
  • Receive and professionally respond to inquiries from staff members, including senior management, third party service providers, investors, and potential partnering institutions.
  • Coordinates intricate travel details including flight, VISAs (as necessary), accommodation, translators, if necessary, time zone considerations, and on the ground travel requirements.
  • Organize, plan and execute business meetings onsite and at a variety of third-party locations. Execution of business meetings may entail extensive and intricate travel arrangements, including multiple time zones, various modes of transportation, and numerous attendees.
  • Assist in the preparation of confidential presentations for external parties and executive management.
  • Communicate sensitive and proprietary information to senior management, investors, potential partners etc. in a quick, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Build trust, good relationships and open communication across the organization with members of the Global Leadership Team, Board members and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate highest levels of confidentiality when supporting tasks that require exposure to proprietary information.
  • Exhibit the highest degree of customer service and professionalism while interacting with fellow employees, executives, members of the Board of Directors, and external service providers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor s Degree desirable, high school diploma required.
  • Minimum of five (5) + years of progressive experience in office management and/or an administrative assistant role providing support to senior level management.
  • High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs, including extensive experience with Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in public companies and biotech preferred.
