Aeroflow Health Customer Account Representative - Remote Opportunity

The Opportunity
Within Aeroflow, the Diabetes team is comprised of 25 team members in a variety of roles, including Customer Account Reps (CAR), Outside Sales Reps (OSR), Customer Service Reps (CSR), Marketing and Sales.
- We focus on providing patients with Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) supplies
- We support a wide variety of patients with Diabetes across the country.
- We have a tight-knit team that rallies together to support one another, grow and learn together, and have fun!
Your Primary Responsibilities We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative. A CAR is typically responsible for supporting existing Aeroflow Diabetes patients who receive Continuous Glucose Monitoring, as well as onboarding new patients based on direct leads.
- This position involves spending a large percentage of your day answering and returning phone calls to confirm customer information, product needs, and verifying insurance documentation. Other tasks include researching insurance payer requirements, learning and understanding reimbursement procedures, account maintenance, answering billing questions, and troubleshooting equipment problems.
- You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, work efficiently with high attention to detail, remain organized, and participate as an engaged member of the team.

- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality.

Required Qualifications- High School Diploma, preference given for college experience
- 3+ years experience in Customer Service or Healthcare
- General Computer and Email Proficiency
You might also have- Experience with insurance, particularly Medicare
- A background in the healthcare sector
- Personal knowledge of Diabetes
