Fabletics is currently looking for a Retail Operations Specialist.

How Do You Fit In?

The Retail Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the retail operations team to execute retail projects, contributing to the overall success of all retail stores, focusing on the improvement of internal controls and processes related to in-store operations. The Retail Operations Specialist is responsible for many day-to-day deliverables that are internally facing and works with store and field management teams to provide support and ensure feedback is communicated to the HQ team.

You will be responsible for building collaborative cross-functional relationships to execute and improve processes and communications and deliver the information to retail teams in a clear, succinct manner. You will be efficient in using a variety of communication tools to share information and identify the most effective timing and method to share information, ensuring understanding and appropriate responses from the field and HQ teams.

This position will report to the Senior Director, Retail Operations - Fabletics.

What you will do:

  • Maintains extensive, up-to-date functional knowledge of all retail directives, policies, procedures, and standards and continuously updates all documentation and tools.
  • Impact success of our stores by analyzing and troubleshooting current processes and determining viable solutions and improvements.
  • Brings the retail vision to life for all stores' retail development by managing a wide array of reports to inform store teams.
  • Your eye for detail is sharp - you can execute with an elevated level of precision without sacrificing urgency and still deliver consistently to deadlines.
  • Work cross functionally with Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising to ensure monthly playbooks and new initiatives are clear and concise before delivering to the field.
  • Communicates the latest retail initiatives, instructions, and directions to our store teams.
  • Act as a liaison, visiting stores to measure the success of these plans and recommend changes to respond to opportunities for improvement.
  • Serve as project leader on cross-functional teams to support ongoing company initiatives to identify any impact to store workload & processes, including but not limited to store openings, events, physical inventory, budget, payroll, merchandising initiatives, systems pilots, rollouts, and enhancements.
  • Gathers and interprets data to support project decision making, share results internally and with stores through meetings and ongoing business reviews.
  • Measures and reports on the success of products, programs, and services.
  • Identify training and developmental needs and develop initiatives that help enhance employee skills, performance, and productivity across our retail stores, in partnership with Learning and Development Manager.
  • Represent Retail in all cross-functional meetings and initiatives as needed.
  • Work closely with Retail Tech Support and Product Manager as it pertains to our tech and apps.
  • Become a subject matter expert on promo execution and our workforce management tool; act as an escalation point for these and proactively solve.
  • Crafting and writing employee facing documentation and SOPs.
  • Act as a contributor of the "lab"/HQ store when needed to support cycle count, shipment, floor set and various ongoing initiatives.


What you can bring:
  • Retail is in your blood! You have led store teams as an assistant manager or store manager in a fast-paced specialty retailer and it is still one of your favorite jobs ever!
  • A minimum of 2 years of retail management experience or similar.
  • Highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and working knowledge of retail inventory and POS systems.
  • Experience with added software (JIRA, Airtable, StoreForce, Canva) a plus.
  • Be extremely comfortable building advanced spreadsheet models and have an analytical and quantitative mind.
  • Great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • You have time management skills and are comfortable managing multiple projects and dealing with shifting priorities.
  • Be part of a world-class team; work with an adventurous spirit; think and act like an owner-operator!
  • Have a high degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, including the ability to take initiative when an opportunity provides itself.
  • The ability to multi-task, set priorities and work well under pressure.
  • May require some nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Willing to travel to store locations with the ability to stay for a long duration as needed; up to 20% travel needed.
  • This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $67,000-$75,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
